SOMSO Anatomical Model of a Venomous Snake

Rare vintage anatomical model of the head of a venomous common viper (Vipera b, berus) (SOMSO Model No: ZoS 115), showing the general construction of the snakes' head including all the venomous parts. The model is 15 times real size and produced by the famous SOMSO company of Germany. SOMSO has been producing anatomical models since 1876, originally in wax and plaster.  This model dates from the late 20th Century and is made from SOMSO-Plast. In excellent condition, with only minor signs of use. With all original stand and paperwork - the stand is detachable for shipping.
