6 x Penelope by Castelli Dining Chairs

A fabulous set of 6 iconic Penelope tube frame dining chairs, designed by Charles Pollock for Castelli in the 1980s. The chairs are constructed from a tubular chromed frame, with a black lacquered metal mesh shell seat and padded arm rests. These are the original, first series of this design icon, dating from the 1980s. They do have some minor signs of age and use but this does not detract in any way from the stylish, functional and timeless beauty of the set. The chairs are stackable, although why anyone would not want them on display at all times is beyond us :) beautiful chairs and unusual to find the 1st series in a set of 6.
