Victorian Salesman's Sample Trunk

A beautiful small antique Victorian wooden salesman's sample/doll trunk with an interior tray and fully lined in a floral patterned paper. The trunk has a hinged, lockable lid with brass hardware all around, suggesting it was representing a larger trunk used for world travels aboard steam ships. The brass hardware is tarnished in places, but this just adds to the look and feel of the piece, and could of course be polished back to its' original finish if you wish.  The brass latches and locking escutcheon are all functional, although there is unfortunately no key.  Has 2 small brass handles to either side.
