Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Door Knocker

A rare early Victorian Coalbrookdale model no 805 door knocker. Impressed marks on the back for Coalbrookdale, registration date of 28th October 1841, and model no: 805.  It is a complete knocker, so does not require a separate striker plate (as many do).  Complete with the original bolts and nuts, ready to fit to your door.  Has been lightly cleaned, but does have decades of heavy black paint, which the new owner may wish to remove to uncover the stunning design beneath in more detail.
