Vintage Papier-Mache Theatrical Witches Hat

A large vintage hand made & painted papier-mache theatrical witch/wizard hat from northern Europe, dating from the mid to late 20th Century.  A rare survivor, as these were made to be thrown away. Likely used in a theatre production of the Wicked Witch of Oz. Singra, the Wicked Witch of the South, is often depicted wearing a red conical hat. She was the cousin of the more famous Wicked Witches of the East and West who went on to movie fame!

Obvious signs of age and use, but a great decorative conversation piece.
