An early 20th Century plaster cast Royal Warrant/Coat of Arms, salvaged from above a shop door some years ago. With rampant Unicorn and Lion and the Latin 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' & 'Dieu et Mon Droit', referring to the divine right of the Monarch to govern.

A good solid example of this rare survivor. Still in it's original colour palette with no signs of overpaint, but does have 1 minor area of damage - bottom left leaf has, at some point, been broken off, but has been repaired and is solid.  It is only visible if the warrant is laid on it's back and viewed from underneath (see photo).

Has a brass mounting port set into the rear of the cast, so perfect as a display piece with only minor signs of age and use.

Measures: 75cm tall x 70cm wide x 7cm deep
