Rivetted Copper Cauldron (Medium)

Medium antique copper rivetted cauldron, perfect as a planter, or a log bin.  Lovely verdigris patination, with the obligatory dents that are customary of these former washing cauldrons.  They would have been placed over an open fire for washing clothes, bedding etc, before the invention of washing machines (or even electric for that matter).

This is one of two we have available, the other being the slightly larger one shown in the photos.
