North East Region NO PARKING Enamel Sign

An extremely rare and large British Railways, North Eastern Region NO PARKING enamel sign, dating from the late 1940s or early 1950s.  The vibrant tangerine colourway for the regional signage was only used from 1948 until the NER was merged with the Eastern region in 1967.

Some minor chipping to the enamel on the edges, but a stunning and very clean example, with a good gloss.  We have owned this for 7 years in our private collection and have never seen another come to the market.
