Ah, gorgeous Montague! He is a very cute cold painted spelter figure of a terrier (he looks quite similar to the Parson Russell Terrier breed). Dating from the early 20th Century and of German or Austrian origin. He (yes he is a male as can be seen when you look at the detail of the casting!), is beautifully cold painted showing the finest details of the hair and facial expression. In great original condition with no issues, he is superbly tactile with a nice weight in the hand. Will be sad to see him leave ....
