Liberty's of London Large Leather Panther Foot Stool

A superb and very decorative antique Liberty’s of London near life size leather panther. Made from leather hide, and stuffed with horsehair, very well modelled having glass eyes, portrays a snarling panther. Very rare to see one of these figures in completely original unrestored condition. These were made for Liberty’s of London as foot stools circa 1920

Missing his whiskers now as he has previously been very much loved, but this does not detract from how great this piece is for his age, with lovely patina, super size & scale.  It has wear to the end of his tail and a few scuffs in places but overall in great solid condition.
