HALTI Dog Advertising Figure

An unusual vintage advertising piece, dating from the 1970s, for HALTI dog collars and harnesses. Made of hard plastic, these would have been seen in larger pet shops around the country, but very few survive in such great condition, as they were often used to display the product.

The company was founded by world-renowned animal psychologist Dr Roger Mugford, who had invented the HALTI Headcollar to try to prevent dogs from pulling on the lead. The company later expanded into other types of leads, harnesses and other dog walking accessories.

He is very cute and hard to find!
