Giltwood & Gesso Cherub Mirror

Antique giltwood and gesso mirror, with foliate decoration and cherub surround. Portrait mirror with arched top, the giltwood has been additionally painted black to fully accentuate the detail of the decoration, and to add a little more drama. Original bevelled and foxed mirror glass with no chips or cracks, but there is some minor damage to the gesso molding beneath the left hand cherub (see photos).

Measures: 125cm high x 105cm wide x 6cm deep
