Signal Automatique

Unusual, large French railway enamel sign dating from 1966 (stamped to rear). A deep blue enamel base with a textured mid yellow upper surface. The lettering process adds to the style of the font, leaving small, precise cut marks to the corner of each letter.  In good condition with only minor marks - which suggests it was only installed for a short period, if at all.

Measures: 96cm wide x 40cm tall x 3cm deep
