A very rare original vintage Corvette advertising poster - Evolution of the Real McCoy. The poster features illustrations of the Corvette sports cars built between 1953 - 1969. This is the first edition of the poster - later versions were produced in the 1970s and 1980s, but this is where it all began!
Printed in the USA. Fair condition, with some minor tears around the edges (see photos) - not bad for a poster produced over 50 years ago - it has clearly been displayed at some point, but has been stored in a card tube for decades. The only versions of this we could find sold in the US, the last one at Mecum Auctions in 2017 for a hammer price of $531. It was in a simple frame and did not have the edge damage, but still.....
