Erdal Shoe Polish (Schuhpflege) Enamel Sign

Rare Erdal Schuhpflege (Shoe Polish) enamel sign showing the famous crowned frog.  Erdal was developed in 1901 in Germany, with the frog added to the logo in 1903.  The frog colour was changed from green to red in 1918 due to shortages of raw materials, so the sign post-dates this - most likely from the mid 20th Century. It has a domed surface & embossed face. The sign has a few minor marks and losses, but still a good, solid sign with strong colour and clear typography.
