Baden Baden Theatre & Opera House Architectural Model

A highly detailed hand made model of the Baden Baden Theatre & Opera House by Timothy Richards. These were produced in relatively small numbers to celebrate the restoration of the building in the 1990s.  They present equally well as book ends or just as a decorative piece on a bookshelf, a table or a mantel. Amazing attention to detail, this is one of a small collection we recently acquired - others to follow.

The Baden Baden Theatre and Opera House was built in the 1860s in the fashionable French style, and opened amid great celebration with a performance of the opera 'Beatrice & Benedict'. The model has some minor signs of age and use, but still in very good condition.

Measures: 17cm tall x 22.5cm wide x 7cm deep
