Anatomical Layered Display - Female Torso

Unique vintage hand cut & layered anatomical display of a female torso.  The images have been painstakingly cut out of a medical book dating from the early 20th Century.  Each printed image has been applied in layers to create an almost 3d representation of the female human anatomy, from the skin, through the muscles and other soft tissue, the skeleton and finally the organs.  A total of 6 different images have been used, and the result applied to the cover of a hardback book (possibly the source tome!).  Would look great mounted in an open box frame.  This appears to be missing the right half of the front & second images, but this does not detract in any way from the visual appeal of this piece. Some signs of age and use, but this was clearly somebody's labour of love.
