Rare vintage French human anatomy medical educational poster in 2 parts presenting the muscles of the male body. Produced by Emile Deyrolle (1838 - 1917) of 46 Rue du Bac, Paris, these date from the first quarter of the 20th Century. Deyrolle was a French naturalist and natural history dealer - the business was started by his grandfather in 1831, but Emile took over in 1866. The posters are mounted on board, and although there is some light water damage, they are in very good used condition, and a rare survivor.
