Extremely rare antique cased Walter Scott novels - The Handy Volume, Waverley. Printed in 1877 by Bradbury, Agnew & Co of Whitefriars, London. An almost complete set, but unfortunately missing volume 11 (The Pirate). Each novel measures 12cm tall and is bound in deep blue leather, with gilt lettering and gold page edges. The wooden table top case is also leather bound, with velvet interior, and inside each door is the list of novels embossed and gilt. Good overall condition, with obvious signs of age and use.
