Victorian gas lantern with panes marked 'Dr Bruce Wilson', 'Physician' and 'Surgeon' and a blank pane to the rear. Glass is a deep red colour. The top of the lantern flips up to enable the easy lighting of the wick using a taper back in the day. The lantern has no light fitting, but would look great cleaned up and with a light fitting added. The pane marked 'Physician' is cracked (please see images), but this does not detract from the item in any way. The main frame of the lantern is brass, but has signs of wear and tear commensurate with age.
