Postage Stamps

Vintage bronze alloy and enamel 'Postage Stamps' plaque. This was salvaged from a hotel in London, where it would have been displayed at the desk of the concierge for residents to get postage stamps so they could send letters and postcards to friends, family or business associates during their stay. In excellent original condition - appears to have never been fitted to the desk, most probably as it dates from the 1930s, and with the outbreak of WW2 in 1939, they probably had more pressing things to concern themselves with.

Measures: 4¼" (11cm) wide x 2" (5cm) tall
