    French Educational Poster (Mammals)

    1 in stock

Antique French educational poster mounted on board for Mammiferes (Mammals), dating from circa 1900.  Discovered in Belgium, these posters (we have 3 in total - see other listings) were produced by Les Fils d'Emile Deyrolle of 48 Rue du Bac, Paris. Emile Deyrolle was a French naturalist and natural history dealer, born in 1838 - he died in 1917. The business was started by his grandfather in 1831, but Emile took over in 1866 and to this day is still based at 48 Rue du Bac. In used condition, but a rare survivor.
