Gorgeous piece of industrial social history - this wooden crate tells the story of a travelling service/maintenance engineer. It was used as a tool box and has numerous badges and plates from machines that may have been serviced or recondition at some point (no machines were harmed in the making of this trunk). The badges cover the top and front sections of the trunk, as well as the part of one side. The badges are mostly from British manufactured equipment, but also there are some badges from Sweden, Germany, Switzerland & Italy. A truly unique industrial folk art item. Comes with a green perspex top to make it into a coffee table, or keep it as is.
