A unique and heavy cast brass Jaguar wall display salvaged from Sir William Lyons' office at the Coventry Works in England. Sir William Lyons was one of the co-founders of the company that eventually became Jaguar in the 1940s, and he was known as 'Mr Jaguar'. The photo shows Sir William Lyons with his successor John Egan (on the left) some time in the late 1960s, possibly at the time of his retirement as Managing Director of Jaguar in 1967 (he continued on as Chairman for a further 5 years). The Jaguar plaque can be seen hanging on the wall in the background.
