Black Death Museum Mother

Unique Black Death museum figure salvaged from the Timewalk exhibition housed in Brewer's Quay in Weymouth, Dorset which closed in 2011. Weymouth as it is now known (formerly Melcombe Regis) was believed to be the English 'Plague Port' in the early 14th Century. The Timewalk exhibition presented the 600 years of major events in local history, including the Black Death, Spanish Armada, the Civil War, King George III and smuggling along the south coast of England. This figure is one of a set of 3 we have available (see group image and other listings). Each figure is based on a high quality mannequin with glass eyes, and modelled by a professional artist at great expense to produce the finished piece. Amazing piece in great condition.
