Bible School Chair

Midcentury oak bible school chair dating from the late 1940s. Excellent quality piece - was most likely part of a commissioned set - still has the brass plate underneath with it's number '176'. Unusual design, with just a single arm rest.....perfect for a good book and a G&T.  Beautifully manufactured with great lines, and not a screw head in site (there are 3 underneath holding a support beam, and of course 2 fixings for the brass plate). Even has leather patches on each foot, which indicates that it was used on a stone floor.

Measures: 87cm tall x 70cm wide x 60cm deep
