Large antique copper bank tellers' coin scoop with mahogany handle. Dating from the early 20th Century, this piece was salvaged from a London bank over 50 years ago. Very decorative piece, offered in 'as found' condition. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail for a functional item. Looks great as it is, but a bit of brasso for the copper and wood polish for the handle would really make it sing. Has obvious signs of age and use, but still a good solid decorative piece, or could also be used in the kitchen for grain, flour or other loose ingredients.
