A pair of small, antique, double-handled, patinated bronze urns on a rouge marble base, and bronze stand. Dating from circa 1900 and believed to be by French sculptor Auguste Moreau (1834-1917), although unsigned. Each urn has a small cherubic figure, with foliate decoration and a small companion. In the case of the male figure, it is a snail, and the female figure has a gilded butterfly. In great condition, with minor marks commensurate with age. Just lovely.
Each urn measures: 19.5cm tall x 7.5cm wide x 7.5cm deep
