Knights of Columbus Sign

Antique Knights of Columbus (Chevalier de Colomb) enamel sign dating from circa 1915 showing the way to the 'Huts'. The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic fraternal order established in 1882 in honour of Christopher Columbus as a mutual benefit society. During World War 1 approximately 100 servicemen members provided support services to the North American troops. The C.A.H. or Canadian Army Huts were recreational facilities for the troops. There were likely only a few of these signs made. Overall condition is good with only minor losses to the enamel.
