Antique large tinned copper saucepan originally used in the House of Commons kitchens (stamped H Of C), believed to have been manufactured by Benham & Froud (based on the handle design, as there are no makers' marks present) dating from the late 19th Century. Has a 12" cast iron handle, fixed to the pan with copper rivets. Comes with later Helvetia copper lid (stamped with the UK & Swiss flag emblem), dating from the 1920s. This is superior quality and is stamped 'H Of C' for the House of Commons kitchens. This is a rare item, and has just been completely refurbished to include polishing and retinning, so can be used for its intended purpose.
Measures: 12" dia (excl handle) x 7" deep (Approx: 31cm x 18cm)
