Antique cast brass HMS Victory door knocker in the form of an anchor. Great attention to detail, with a trident and life buoy forming the back plate and striker. This piece dates from the 1920s and was a commemorative piece issued when HMS Victory was first put on public display at the Historic Dockyards in Portsmouth. As Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar it is one of, if not the most, famous of all naval ships in British history.
