Antique cased silver shot cup (or jigger!) engraved with 'JUST A THIMBLEFUL' around the top collar. Designed to resemble a sewing thimble, but for a giants' finger :) Gilt interior, but unfortunately the marks appear to have been almost completely polished away so it is not possible to confirm the maker or date, although the case has the feel of a Victorian piece! The hinged carry case is made from wood and clad in leather with gilded decoration, and the interior is lined with purple velvet.  Some obvious signs of age and use to the case, but still in good condition.

Thimble measures: 5.25cm tall x 4.5cm diameter
