Very interesting African tribal mask, believed to originate from the Punu tribe of Gabon. Hand carved from a single piece of wood, and decorated with hessian, shells, fur, beads and leather. Has some age and has had a busy life, but a really stunning piece. Even has the previous owners' label inside from when it was purchased in South Africa. At that time 4,000 Rand was paid.
Measures: 35cm tall x 25cm wide x 15cm deep (+ stand)
