City of London St Paul's Station

A very rare vintage City of London name plate for St Paul's Station in the heart of the capital.  Made from anodized aluminium plate with the name engraved and painted white.  The name plates were mounted above a 'Wayfinder Map' near to St Paul's Underground Station (not far from the aforementioned Cathedral) for tourists to find their way around the local area. Examples of similar signs can be found on the internet (see photo 3). Salvaged recently direct from the City of London.  The signs were originally installed in 2007, and were replaced recently with the yellow topped signs that have been common around the rest of London for some time, so this sign has seen over 10 years of life right in the centre of London. In good original condition.
